When I was a kid we used to have leftover thanksgiving gravy over waffles for dinner. In Tara’s family they have potato soup with waffles. Well I’ve got Bianca’s pancakes and potato soup and it’s like the 2 were made to be together. I ate this for brunch, with tempeh bacon but it’s definitely one of those any meal combinations. Weird, yes. Totally awesome, heck yeah!
that sounds freakin delicious! yay for weird combinations. i used to eat cheetos and mustard in my preegan days.

Wow! I would never ever have thought to have potato soup over waffles… I love them both separately, but together never crossed my mind. I will definitely give it a shot – I have a potato soup and a couple of waffles leftover in the fridge, so here goes….

Damn, I would never have thought of that. But it sounds good. I\’ll have to give that a try. I have a bad experience mixing unexpected foods this weekend (tempeh bacon, peanut butter, and bananas on a sandwich…it was icky). But this sounds like a surprisingly good combo.
